Looking at everything going on in the world, would it really be that bad if I, Sheldon J. Plankton, were your supreme ruler?
I support the US troops no matter where they are...always. I think it is sad that there is so much hate and violence in the world today due to government, religious and racial differences. The environment is going through drastic changes undeniably whether you believe in global warming or warming trend. Industrial success in parts of the world which equal to financial success, is making it so the air being breathed is so thick with pollution, not only can you not see to the end of the block, it can make you sick if not kill you just breathing it. We have kids bringing guns to schools and taking lives of classmates. I remember when a murder would BIG news on your local news tv stations. Now it has become so common, you're lucky if it's two minute segment on the news. We have so many spouses that get the idea to kill their spouse instead of just getting a divorce, that you have a different crime investigation show, if not two or three, every night of the week on tv. If I screamed "wake up people, what is wrong with you", all it would get me is a noise complaint from my neighbors to the landlord. So I'll use this episode as that scream.

All Sheldon J. Plankton nonsense aside, my 4 y/o son saw the Planktopolis page a few days ago as I was checking to see the stats on how Dying For Pie was doing after over a two month absence. Originally there was not going to be a Welcome To Planktopolis. Having heard The Captain Greybeard Show here at Podomatic, I thought last October that since winter had come (and it really never leaves here until around May)that my son and I would have a winter activity of having a podcast, naming it after ourselves, and just talk about random nonsense and play a few songs. He was all excited about bringing this to "the people"...until he had the mic in his face. This vocal kid (believe me, everyday with him is like it's own musical) got what I would term as stage fright. I tried an intro just myself, and realized with all the pauses and not knowing what the hell to say, I needed a voice...AND NOT MINE
The choice on that day was very clear to me who would be that voice...Sheldon J. Plankton. I am currently working on two way more detailed episodes, but anyone who knows me knows the three nights a week that I work, I don't have him...I was missing him last night...so here I am, should be sleeping but this is for him. Upon seeing this page and telling him what is was about, he wanted to bring music to "the people" I told him he could pick six songs and I'd pick four. I put an * at the beginning of his six choices and filled in the rest. This show almost did not happen because he threw a HUGE fit when I told him Necessary Responses' Forever had already been posted and could not be on "his" playlist. After intense negotiations, we finally got his six. Besides, if you know Spongebob and Plankton, you knew the F.U.N. episode was inevitable...I just needed a reason and a playlist...so here you go.
